What do you know about Chic? You'll know their song "Le Freak", no doubt. You probably even know the story of how this song came to be written. With the band being refused entry at the door to Studio 54 and going home and writing the lyric "Fuck off" in response -- which later became "Freak Out". It's a good story. It's a great song. But that's not the whole story about the band Chic.
You might also know some of their other songs. How about the song "Good Times" that was sampled by The Sugarhill Gang for "Rapper's Delight"? Or the song "Soup for One" that was sampled by Modjo for "Lady"? Grab this album and have a listen!
